Background
Sweet Burklie was one of our very first rescues of 2021 after he was discovered hanging around at a rural post office just outside Regina — hungry and looking for warmth. He was so friendly that his rescuers wanted to make sure he got a home that would love and cherish him so they reached out to Regina Cat Rescue for help.
Burklie instantly became a volunteer favourite with his friendly and loving personality and his gratitude for being safe and warm. He was underweight and in need of some serious TLC, but is doing well in his foster home. He’s always happy for a meal, but also loves attention and affection. Burklie’s a well-behaved and easy going cat who would make an excellent first pet. Overall, he’s such a happy and sweet little cat that he will fit in great with any cat-loving home!
