Background

Vinny came into care one frigid winter night when the temperature was in the -50s with the windchill. The poor fellow was one of several cats trying to survive the winter after being abandoned. Concerned for his safety, an RCR volunteer scooped him and got him to safety. While he was a bit shy in the beginning, Vinny was grateful to be safe and warm. He has blossomed beautifully in foster care and is ready to join a forever family.

Vinny is a sweet natured and curious cat who loves exploring in his foster home. Vinny adores his foster brother Maxim and can often be found sleeping with him, and lovingly grooms him. He sleeps at the foot of his foster mom's bed and likes to say hello in the morning when she gets up. He loves to be around her and follows her around the house, especially when she heads to the kitchen! The key to Vinny's heart is through his stomach. He loves treats and soft food and the crinkly of any bag will immediately catch his attention and send him to investigate. Vinny is very playful and will sneak attack and start chases with Maxim. He has a cute little leap when he wants to jump over something. Vinny is still a bit shy with new people and situations, and loud noises and sudden movements make him nervous. He will come to you for pets once he's had time to get to know you. Vinny is a sleek, silky soft little panther who is a lot of fun and has a lot of love to offer his lucky adopter.
