Background

Regina was still in the grip of some nasty winter weather when we were alerted about Orville. He had been living under a deck most of the winter and then local residents started noticing that he could not put weight on one of his front paws. Orville was quickly scooped and taken for vet care, and it was discovered he had a dislocated ulna and extensive ligament damage. This condition required an orthopaedic surgery known as arthrodesis. Thanks to RCR's generous supporters, Orville was able to have the surgery and has rocked his recovery! He has healed well and is raring to go after two months of confinement and limited activity (jumping still needs to be limited). Orville is a wonderful cat who is ready to find a home of his own after his lengthy ordeal.

Orville is a gregarious and affectionate cat who quickly makes friends with everyone he meets. He absolutely loves attention and loves to be with people. Orville is very playful and loves springs, balls and catnip toys. This easy going fellow gets along well with other cats and could easily adapt to a home with other cats. Above all, Orville is a super sweet fellow with all the love in the world to give.
