Take a look at our cat-a-logue and fall in love with the many cats in search of their forever home. Once you spot a cat that you’re interested in, complete the adoption application. Not sure who is the best fit? Contact our adoptions team and they are happy to provide recommendations for your requirements and situation.

Regina Cat Rescue screens all applicants and selects the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption. Successful applicants are put in contact directly with the foster family to arrange a meet and greet.

The meet and greet allows adoptees to interact with the cat in the comfortable surroundings of their foster home, and the fosters often have great insider information on the cat's personality to see if they're a good fit! All family members are welcome to attend to ensure the everyone is supportive of the new cat. Be sure to take your pet carrier, just in case!

If you decide to adopt, all foster homes are equipped with adoption packages. Applicants are required to fill out the adoption contract and agree to the terms of adoption.

Payment can be made via etransfer to adoptionfees@reginacatrescue (please note the cat’s name with the transfer), or by cash to the foster.

Adoptees can expect a follow-up by the RCR foster or another volunteer within the first few weeks of adoption to offer support and ensure the transition with the new cat is a smooth one.
