Background

When Tia stumbled upon an RCR volunteer, she was homeless, hungry and very skinny. The volunteer realized that Tia would not survive much longer in her current state so a RCR foster spot was quickly found. Once she recovered from her time on the streets, Tia was adopted. But after a few months with her new family she was surrendered to the Regina Humane Society for reasons unknown. RCR was contacted and Tia was taken back into RCR care.

It's impossible to understand why anyone would give Tia up. She is a calm, confident and very affectionate cat. She greets her foster parents at the door each day eagerly awaiting their love and attention. She loves to play with toy mice and wand toys, and also enjoys just hanging out and looking out the windows.

Tia is also a very well behaved cat. She waits to be invited to jump up on the bed or couch, and uses her scratch lounger faithfully. She loves to be brushed and groomed - even clipping her nails is easy.

Most of all Tia just loves being loved. She happily purrs away when she is petted. All she wants is a life spent cuddling up in bed at night and snuggling up in a lap during the day!

Please note; in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.
