Background

Mozart is a super sweet fellow who was rescued last summer after a kind neighbour noticed Mozart and his brother were never allowed in the house of the people who "owned" them and began providing food and water. Not long after the people moved out of the house leaving Mozart and his brother behind. When Mozart showed up one day looking like he'd been hit by a car, he was immediately taken to the vets. Thankfully the wounds were caused by fighting with the other neighbourhood cats and Mozart was placed in a foster home. It didn't take long for him to catch someone's eye and get adopted, however Mozart was recently returned due to no fault of his own.

After being neglected and then abandoned by the people who were supposed to care for him, Mozart can be very clingy at times. He is definitely the kind of kitty who needs to have both furry friends around as well as a family who will appreciate his affectionate nature. Mozart likes to sit on the counter beside the sink and watch his foster mom do dishes, and it's not uncommon for him to follow her from room to room so he can immediately snuggle into her lap the moment she sits down.

Mozart is being fostered with other cats as well as a large dog and he enjoys playing with everyone.  He will do well in a  home with a family who will lavish him with affection and who have other furry friends for him to hang out with.
