Background

Radar is one of many tame cats that RCR rescues each year from its maintained feral feeding stations.  When Radar turned up it was obvious that he was in rough shape.  With the tip of one ear missing he had obviously spent time outside this past winter.  Radar was also covered in scratches which came from fights with other non-fixed male cats on the streets.  It was obvious that this guy needed vet care, so the volunteers scooped him up and took him to the clinic.  After testing negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, Radar was fixed and a foster home spot was found for him.

This kitty amazed his foster mom with how laid back he was and how quickly he befriended everyone in the house hold.  In less than 24 hours he had not only made friends with the other foster cats, but he had also made friends with the Lab X dog in his foster home.  In addition to enjoying the company of the other animals in the house, Radar loves to get pets from his foster mom.  When he’s ready for some human attention Radar will snuggle on his foster mom’s lap and roll over to get a much enjoyed belly rub.

With his laid back personality, Radar is the perfect cat for any family.
