Background

Stevie Nicks, like so many before her, were born to a feral mom that RCR cares for at one of our feeding stations.  When Stevie Nicks was old enough to leave her mom, RCR volunteers set out to trap Stevie Nicks and her mom and have them spayed.

In hopes of giving her the cushy life and indoor only cat enjoys, Stevie was placed in foster care where she has slowly warmed up to the idea of being an indoor kitty.  During her time in foster care she has gone from fearful and terrified, to curious and cuddly. She will not take no for an answer when it comes to affection, but she also needs her space when she's had enough pets.

Stevie loves playing with her feline foster brother and tolerates the large dogs who also share the house. She would do well in a house with cat-savvy dogs or dogs who show no more than a passing interest in cats.

Stevie is a sweet girl who will need a family who is understanding and will help her slowly adjust to a new home.  The family who is willing to do this will be rewarded with all the love Stevie has to give.
