Background

Isabella and her litter mates were found outside the municipal office in Grenfell this past spring.  Taken to a home in the town, the kittens should have been on their way to wonderful homes, however, mother nature had other plans in mind.  During the flash flooding at the end of June, the woman who’s home the kittens were staying in ended up flooded and she sent out a desperate plea for help from RCR.  With foster spaces available, and a foster mom travelling past the town, Isabella and her siblings were picked up and placed in foster care.

Isabella is a sweet but independent girl who can usually be found sunbathing in the front window if she’s not playing chasing games her siblings.  She loves toys with bells and will bat them from one end of her foster home to the other if she can’t convince the other cats in her foster home to play with her.  Feathered toys are also a big hit and Isabella will carry them in her mouth so no one else can play with them.

She does have an affectionate side and will purr as soon as she picked up and snuggled.
