Background
Though RCR does not re-home pets for people, there is the occasional exception where the cat and their human desperately needs some help. That is the situation that Odessa came from. When her owner moved out of the country, Odessa was left with a family member to care for. Unfortunately, the family member became very ill and has been hospitalized for the foreseeable future. With no one to care for Odessa, RCR was contacted and asked for some help. Given the situation, RCR stepped in to help when a foster spot was available.
Odessa has had a lot of changes over the last few months and because of this is shy when faced with new situations or people. She is a sweet girl who needs some TLC from a family that will be patient with her while she settles in to her new home. She enjoys being petted, and is the perfect cat for someone who has grown children and has a quiet home for Odessa to settle into.
Though Odessa is older, she still has lots of love to give a forever "family" who will be patient and loving with her.
