Background
Early this summer, RCR was contacted about 3 stray cats that were living in an old couch that had been left in a yard when the occupants moved out. Obviously not a safe situation, several volunteers went out to find and rescue the cats. Only able to find 2 of the 3, the volunteers had to give up for the day and take the 2 rescued cats to foster homes. Early the next morning, on her way to work, one of the volunteers stopped off to try again to spot the 3rd kitten. Burrowed way into the couch, the volunteer found Binx, scared and lonely without her 2 other companions.
Binx has settled into her foster home very quickly and is a very playful little girl. She loves to play with wand toys and jumps and bounces to try and catch the feathers. Though she is playful, Binx is also a snuggler and can be found at night snuggled beside her foster mom in bed purring to show how happy she is to be safe.
