Background
This beautiful girl came into RCR care when she walked up to a cat caring couple looking heavily pregnant and in need of a safe place to give birth. Unable to keep her, RCR was contacted and arrangements were made with a local vet clinic to board Calista until a foster home could be found for mom and her "soon to come babies". Sadly, after several days and x-rays to confirm, it was discovered that Calista had likely given recently miss-carried.
Calista has now settled into her foster home where she is adjusting to the other cats as well as the toddler in the house. She is the perfect combination of independence and attention seeking. Calista is happy to curl up on a chair or window sill for some quiet time, but when she is ready, she will find her foster mom to get some love and affection. This beautiful girl enjoys getting chin rubs and has quickly adjusted to the toddler in the house. Calista is the purr-fect fit for a family with young children.
