Background
Nermal was only days old when she came into foster care with her sister. RCR’s feral Co-Chairs were alerted to a situation where a feral momma cat appeared to be abandoning her kittens as she was spreading the kittens all around the concerned person’s yard and wasn’t staying with the kittens to nurse them. When the volunteers arrived, Nermal and her sister were the only 2 who had survived. The kittens were quickly scooped up and placed with a foster home who bottle feed the kittens until they were weaned.
With Nermal being a “bottle baby,” she is very affectionate. She loves to be snuggled by her foster family and purrs the moment she is spoken to or touched. Nermal can usually be found playing chasing and wrestling games with her sister or the other cats and dog. When the games are over, Nermal is definitely looking for a nap to snuggle up in. If she can’t find the lap of her foster mom or dad, she will snuggle up with the 5 year old and loves to be carried around her foster home by him.
