Background

Jose and his brother were found huddled together in a hay bale on a farm just outside of Regina.  Sadly, their mother had abandoned them and they were trying desperately to survive.  At only 4 weeks of age, the family that found them realized they needed immediate help and an RCR volunteer who was on holidays ran and picked up the boys so they could be bottle fed.

Jose is now a healthy kitten who is full of energy and loves to play.  It is not uncommon to see him chasing after his brother while they play racing games, or to watch him stalk another foster cat so he can pounce on him.  This little ball of energy is entertaining to watch, but when the games are over, he's all about the cuddling.  Jose loves to be snuggled in his foster mom's lap for some pets and cuddles during down time and can be found every night sleeping beside his foster mom.
