Background
When Alex arrived on the doorstep of an RCR volunteer, she couldn't turn him away. After attempts to find his owner were unsuccessful, arrangements were made for a foster home to take Alex in. Alex had a large chunk of gum stuck in the fur around his neck which had to be shaved, but otherwise, was in good health.
When Alex arrived at his foster home he completely took over the place. With no other pets to compete with for attention, he enjoyed being the only kitty to lavish with attention. Alex enjoys to "chat" and will call to his foster mom when he wants to know where she is. He will jump in her lap and stand on his back legs to gives hugs when he's looking for some TLC. It took a little time for him to learn to play but now he loves to chase the laser light and has a favorite soft toy he likes to carry around.
