Background
Ulysses was found by a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer on a bone-chilling evening in early January. Although he was very frightened, she managed to coax him inside where she discovered that he had several injuries including an abscessed wound on his back and a jaw injury. He was also very cold and hungry.
A vet examination showed that he had a healed over jaw fracture that had been sustained some time prior to his rescue. With some veterinary care and TLC from his foster mom, this sweet boy has made a full recovery and is ready for his forever home. He does have a cute little overbite as a reminder of his injury.
Ulysses is a good natured and affectionate boy who enjoys cuddle time and loves to play with (ie shred!) catnip toys. He is shy with strangers to begin with, but warms up quickly and is happy to accept pets and belly rubs. He is slowly being introduced to other cats in his foster home.
