Background
Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) received an urgent request for help one cold February day. A pregnant cat that was unwanted was being kept in a cold garage and had given birth to kittens prematurely. One baby had already passed away and the young mama cat, barely out of kittenhood herself, was struggling to care for the other two. A concerned person contacted RCR and made arrangements to get the little family into our care.
Once she was settled in to her foster home, Evie relaxed and was able to focus on caring for her babies. Sweet and friendly herself, she enjoyed attention and cuddles from her foster family but always put her babies first. She even helped RCR out by taking on a little orphaned kitten and caring for him as one of her own. Now that the babies are weaned and ready for families of their own, it's Evie's turn to find a forever family. This gentle, calm and affectionate cat will be an excellent pet for any cat lover wanting an interactive and loving cat companion.
