Background
Meet Bootsie, a sweet mature female that is currently seeking a new home for the third time through Regina Cat Rescue. Bootsie was first rescued 7 years ago by Regina Cat Rescue and was adopted by a kind lady that loved Bootsie with all her heart. Sadly it wasn’t meant to be. Bootsie and her adopter were separated once when the woman’s home was damaged by fire, and they were luckily reunited after a brief scare. Then Bootsie was left homeless again when her owner became terminally ill and passed away. She was successfully re-homed through RCR and enjoyed several years with her second adoptive family until they had to give her up due to a move.
Now Bootsie is once again seeking a new home as a senior cat. Thanks to her loving foster mom, Bootsie is a happy and healthy cat with a sweet temperament. She gets along well with other older (calmer) cats but would also be a good only cat.
After experiencing so much upheaval, this sweet girl has more than earned her chance for a true forever home that will care for her for the rest of her days
