Background
Spencer is a handsome and affectionate cat that first came to RCR care after rescuing himselfin a roundabout way. During an extreme cold spell in January of 2013, Spencer let himself into a Salvation Army shelter along with several other people escaping the cold. An employee spotted Spencer coming in and contacted RCR for help as the shelter can't have pets. Spencer was placed in a foster home the same day and quickly was adopted. Sadly, due to allergies, his adoptive family had to return him recently, and so, Spencer is again looking for a forever home.
Spencer is very outgoing, affectionate and playful. He loves to run around the house playing with anything he can get his paws on, and enjoys a game of fetch. He also enjoys going for walks on a harness and lead with his foster parents who have to watch closely as he is a bit of a Houdini. He became fast friends with the cat in his foster home and tries to make friends with any cat he meets on his walks. At night Spencer is ready for some cuddle time before curling up in bed.
