Background

Moira was found by an RCR volunteer clutching the light post on the boulevard of a busy intersection. When the volunteer ran across traffic to rescue the little 6-week-old kitten, she was so terrified she couldn’t stop shaking. The volunteer went to all of the houses that were close by, but no one claimed the kitten. After being checked by a vet, she was placed in a foster home.

Moira quickly made friends with the other cats in her foster home, and games of chase and wrestling are high on her list of favourite things to do. She is not a lap cat as she doesn’t come looking for affection, however, if her foster mom comes across her sleeping and pets her and pick her up for some snuggles, Moira will melt into her foster mom’s arms.

Moira will do best in a home with a furry friend to play with and a loving human who will enjoy Moira’s company on her terms.
