Background
The handsome Eric Beale came into the care of Regina Cat Rescue when a young woman rescued him from the side of a highway in the severe winter cold and contacted us for help. Right from the start Eric was as friendly and snuggly as they come, but he suffered from a fungal infection that required him to be isolated for several months. Once he finally got the all clear and was given a clean bill of health, Eric quickly made up for lost time. His love of play and snuggling was very apparent once he got to a foster home. He has thrived ever since.
Eric is a friendly, laid-back and curious fellow who is always up for making new friends and has won over the entire floor of the condo where he lives. Everyone knows and loves him. He is good with children and other cats, and has been exposed to small dogs and gets along with them just fine.
Eric is fostered with other cats, but he also adores attention and would be great as an only cat where he alone can soak up all the love. He is crazy about toys and soft food, but is as loving as they come in his mellow moments.
