Background

Gemma was abandoned when her owners moved away, leaving her behind to fend for herself and her litter of kittens. Thankfully a kind neighbour intervened and rescued the little family.  Gemma’s kittens have been weaned, and she is now spayed and ready to find a loving home of her own.

Gemma is a friendly and affectionate cat who is quick to bond with people. She's being fostered with both dogs and cats, and gets along fine, especially with the dogs, but she does like to assert her dominance and is protective of “her” people, making her an ideal candidate to be an only cat. She's a very smart cat and learns fast, and would make an excellent feline friend for a lucky adopter.

For information on adopting Gemma, click here to view our adoption contract and click here to complete an adoption application or email RCR adoption coordinator Alanna at abanana71@gmail.com for more info.

Please note: in the event there are multiple inquiries for a cat or kitten, Regina Cat Rescue will select the best suited home in the interest of a successful adoption.

Adoption fee: $100

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens.
