Background
Pretty Marci first appeared at the home of a long-time RCR volunteer in the early fall, eager for the food she provided to strays. Her appearances were intermittent, so we weren't sure if she was truly stray or not. However, once the cold weather set in, she became a regular and it was clear she was homeless. So, she was placed into foster care.
Marci is a very sweet and affectionate cat who has a loud, motorboat purr and who loves attention and affection. She adjusted very easily to her foster home with another cat and a dog, and has proven to be easy-going and adaptable. Marci is the perfect lap cat to snuggle with on cold winter nights.
