Background

This very clever cat found herself homeless and pregnant this spring and desperately trying to find a safe place to give birth.  What she found was the engine of a jeep that wasn't used in the winter, and there she hid with her kittens until they were big enough to start wandering around.  When the owner of the jeep realized the feline family was there, she contacted RCR for help and foster spots were found for Amethyst and her 4 babies.

Amethyst is a sweet girl who just wants to be loved.  Any kind of attention has her purring up a storm and rolling over to get her belly rubbed.  Amethyst was briefly fostered in a home with other cats and a dog, but she was very protective of her kittens and wasn't happy with any other animals around.  With the proper introduction, and no kittens to protect, Amethyst could learn to share her human's with another pet.
