Background

Dixie is a pretty young cat who was brought to Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) by a concerned citizen who found Dixie stray at a resort community outside of Regina and believed her to pregnant. Once in RCR's care, she was taken to the vet and we were shocked to learn that Dixie wasn't pregnant, but rather her swollen belly was due to being shot with a pellet gun.

Dixie is a sweet friendly girl who has made a full recovery and is doing well in foster care. She may have had a rough start but is definitely happy to be safe, warm and loved, and she expresses her gratitude with cuddles and purrs. She would make a great pet for any cat loving person looking for a friendly, interactive and loving cat companion.
