Background

While out feeding at one of Regina Cat Rescue's maintained feral colonies, two of RCR's volunteers met this beautiful girl when she came up to them looking for food. When they petted her they noticed how extremely thin she was and found a concerning lump on her back leg.  Realizing that Kihew needed vet care, they scooped her up and brought her to a foster home.  When Kihew was examined at the vets the foster mom was shocked to find out that the lump on Kihew's leg was actually a pellet from a pellet gun, and that someone had shot Kihew. Thankfully the pellet hadn't done any physical damage and it was easily removed.

Kihew is a sweet girl who only wants to be snuggled and petted. She rubs herself around her foster mom's legs until she's picked up for some cuddles and follows her from room to room so she can be the first one to climb into her foster mom's lap when she sits down. Kihew has quickly adjusted to being with the other cats in her foster home, but is still very unsure of the energetic dog.
