Background
When Keziah arrived in foster care the first thing her foster mom noticed was that Keziah had a serious tail injury. Though the injury was several weeks old and the last several inches of her tail had fallen off, while being spayed it was necessary to amputate a small portion of the remaining tail to prevent infection. Keziah is now all healed up and is ready to move on to a new chapter in her life with a forever family.
Though she only has a 3 inch stub for a tail, Keziah hasn't let her injury slow her down in the least, nor has it changed this sweetheart's wonderful personality. Keziah was hesitant to explore and make friends when she first arrived in her foster home and was terrified of the energetic dog. Now though, Keziah has made friends with the other foster kitten in the house and can often be found chasing her friend Ada around the house and up and down the scratching post. Keziah has the sweetest personality and wants nothing more than to be snuggled and petted by her foster mom. Any attention she gets has her purring to show how happy she is to finally be cared for. At night Keziah enjoys curling up in bed with her foster mom and snuggling as close as possible.
Because Keziah has been used to being outside she still needs to be watched very closely around open doors as she will try to run out any time a door is open. Keziah will need a forever family who is going to be diligent in making sure that she can't escape and be hurt again.
