Background

Peggy was found stray and hobbling by a kind citizen who quickly realized she was walking funny because she missing part of her back leg. She was taken to a local vet clinic who examined her and determined it to be a healed over injury, and also treated her for upper respiratory. They then contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help in getting the little peg-legged cat a home.

Peggy is an active and energetic kitty despite her short leg. She gets around perfectly well and can keep up with her cat friends during playtime, although her favourite is to hang around with her mom and cuddle.

Peggy is very affectionate and loves people. She follows her foster mom around the house and is never far away when she’s home. She’d be perfectly happy as an only pet who gets all the attention and would do well with children. She’s a fun, friendly little cat who would fit well into almost any type of cat loving home.
