Background
Reko is a handsome older cat who was down on his luck and fending for himself on the street until he made his way to an RCR community cat colony where one of our volunteers befriended him. Eventually the RCR volunteer was able to scoop him up and get him some much needed care. His ears were badly scabbed from ear mites, he had some old battle wounds and needed some teeth pulled. During his check up, it was also discovered that Reko is positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). However, he is currently healthy and happy and has received dental treatment.
Since he’s been in care, Reko has enjoyed being fawned over by his RCR friends, and is loving and soaking up the attention. He is a well-behaved cat who is not demanding and is simply grateful for any bit of kindness and love that comes his way. He is especially fond of his little toddler friend, the 2-year old daughter of his rescuer.
