Background

Kane is a handsome and super friendly young fellow who was found in the middle of a residential street, hungry and crying for attention. Thankfully, two kind neighbourhood residents were leaving for work and discovered the poor kitten and scooped the little guy up. They contacted RCR for help and Kane landed in a foster home in short order.

Kane quickly adjusted to the other cats in his foster home and it wasn’t long before he was sleeping snuggled up against the senior cat of the house and wrestling with the youngest member of the clowder. When Kane isn’t playing games with his feline friends he is snuggled up with his foster mom. This sometimes means that he pushes his way onto her lap, or her shoulder when he can’t make lap space.

Kane has gotten used to the high energy dog in the house and would do well in a forever home with either feline or canine friends.
