Background
Winry was born to a homeless momma cat who had been abandoned in cottage country this past spring. When Winry was 5 weeks old, her mom came across some kind people staying at a cottage that she felt she could trust, and brought Winry and her 2 brothers to the people on a very hot summer afternoon. Not able to take the feline family home with them, but realizing that leaving the cats behind could be a death sentence, the caring people contacted RCR for help with the little family.
Because Winry was 5 weeks old before she ever meet a human, it took some time for her to learn to trust people. She enjoys getting snuggles, as long as they are on her terms, and is happy to sleep on the couch beside her foster mom in the evenings. Winry is shy when meeting new people, but once she knows that she can trust you, she'll enjoy spending time with you.
Winry has been fostered with other cats and loves to play chasing games with her foster siblings. Winry also enjoys feather toys and balls with bells. Though she's been fostered with a dog, she's not to comfortable with the dog and would do better in a home with other cats but no canine friends.
