Background
At three years of age, Gandalf the grey set off on his adventure, unable to return to the home he knew well. He found himself braving the cold, suspecting his fellowship had abandoned him.
As the holidays neared, Gandalf became desperate to get inside on a -30C day. On that fateful day, right before Christmas, he entered into the company of rescue. Gandalf soon found himself with a new fellowship: that of other RCR fosters.
His friendly and easy going nature made it easy for the other cats in his fellowship to take to him. In between naps, he bestows nuggets of wisdom upon the new fellowship, kindling their hearts with hope to overcome their quests to find homes.
Like his namesake, Gandalf holds no permanent residence and prefers his solitude. He is ready to retire to a quiet, one cat only home where he can rest and recover from his unsettling adventure with tender loving care and attention of his new forever family.
