Background
Cookie came into RCR early in the summer after hanging around stray in a central Regina neighborhood for several weeks. The people that rescued her were able to establish a trusting relationship with the young stray, and contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help in getting her a home. Cookie has experienced a lot of upheaval in her young life, but is doing well and making friends at the Excalipurr Cat Cafe.
Cookie is a very loving and affectionate cat once you get past her initial wariness. She's had some hard times and can be nervous, but she does adjust quickly and warms up nicely. Cookie's ideal home is quiet and has few or no other animals, enabling her to become comfortable more quickly. However, she has been fostered with other cats and even a small dog, and is adaptable.
