Background
My owner needed to move into a senior’s home and couldn’t keep me. After trying to find me a new home, she showed up at the home of an RCR volunteer in tears because she had to move into her new home the next day and wanted what was best for me. Now, I, Minou, am safe in foster care and waiting for my new forever home. It’s a busy house and, although I get along okay with the three dogs and Tommy the RCR alumni, I think I would like a home that is quiet. Tommy is doing the best he can to get me to love him. He’s enamoured of me. I mean, of course he is. I’m a pretty little thing to look at. But I mostly tolerate and ignore him. I’m not keen on his affections.
I do love to snuggle with my foster parent and be brushed. Those are my favourite things in the world that make me purr. I’m playful still too. I believe that, even at my age, play is important to keep the mind sharp and the body fit. So are you ready to softly call out my name (it’s Minou, in case you forgot) and welcome me into my new, quiet forever home?
