Background

I’m Mr. Chatterson, but you can call me Chatty. I love to talk. I spent a long time on the streets trying to start a community of cats where we talked things out instead of fought things out. Unfortunately, the cats on the street didn’t appreciate my friendly, chatty nature. Let’s just say I had a disagreement with the other cats which left me in pretty rough shape. I’m a lover not a fighter. Thankfully, the RCR community cat team took me in to safety. As a result of my past, I hope to keep my conversations between humans and myself. I’m not fond of other cats and wish for a home where I am the only feline to roam the halls.

I’m a friendly chap, and I love affection. My two favorite things in the world are being safe and being warm, and now I'm not very chatty anymore except to say hello when you walk in the house or as you are feeding me.

I love to spend time looking out the window, and I will let you pick me up once I'm comfortable in my new home.  I like curling up with my human to have a nap, and giving nose kisses! I also enjoy playing with toys: holding those toy mice in my paws or tossing them across the floor as I keep my hunting skills sharp brings me great joy. Oh, and chasing balls and those feathery things on sticks, I enjoy that too. Don’t forget the delightful catnip toys. So, if you are looking for a laid-back and affectionate guy for some serious couch cuddling, I’m the cat for you.

All adoption fees and sponsorship donations contribute towards veterinary care and other costs associated with caring for Regina Cat Rescue rescued cats and kittens.
