Background
Josie and her siblings were born to a feral mother cat who gave birth under the deck of a concerned citizen who contacted Regina Cat Rescue for help. The little family had to be trapped, but once rescued and fostered the young kittens became friendly and affectionate cats.
Josie is a quiet little girl with a cute black nose who often looks a bit grumpy, but don't let that fool you. She’s a social girl that gets along well with her foster family and the resident cats. Of all her litter mates, Josie has taken the longest to trust humans. Being a feral kitten when rescued, her litter mates became trusting of their foster mom fairly quickly but Josie held out. She would run, hide and hiss at any attempt of someone trying to touch her. It took some time but one day she decided that life indoors with humans was not so bad. Josie might need a bit of time and patience to trust her new person , but once she does she will be a joy to her new family. Josie loves to be out and about with the resident cats in her foster home and she has taken to one of the older foster cats in her foster home and is known as his shadow, following him everywhere.
