Background

Cecil and his sister were born on the street to a beautiful mama cat who recently turned up stray at one of Regina Cat Rescue’s community cat feeding stations. The little family was no match for the harsh winter elements, so they were rescued and placed into foster care, where they’re blossoming into social and affectionate cats.

Cecil may be a young kitten, but his majestic demeanour is reminiscent of his namesake, the famous slain lion — he’s 100 per cent pussycat though! This stunning little fellow with the fluffy ruff and big eyes is quickly winning the hearts of everyone he meets, and it's impossible to resist scooping him up for cuddles. Cecil’s good with the other cats in his foster home, but he does need a bit of time to get used to new people. However, once he’s in your arms, he completely melts and soaks up the love. This precious kitten is sure to light up the life of his lucky adopter.
