Background

Peewee’s a beautiful mature cat who found her way into Regina Cat Rescue’s (RCR) care after her owner moved into a special care home. Peewee lived on her own in an empty home for several months with a daily caregiver visiting to provide basic care. But it was clear that this very affectionate cat craves and loves human attention, and needed more than love than she was receiving. She’s now happily settled into foster care where she enjoys being part of a home again.

Peewee’s a gentle and affectionate girl who quickly won the hearts of RCR volunteers. Her first week in care was rough as she was shy and stressed at the sudden changes in her life. Severely matted, she had to be shaved to relieve her of the pain from multiple mats. Slowly but surely, Peewee started to relax and allowed her loving nature to shine. We learned that she adores pets and cuddles and happily gives gentle head butts while you stroke her, soaking in all the love. Peewee’s a gentle, loving and well-behaved furry friend who would be an excellent companion for a single person seeking a cat companion, but also does well with the busy young family fostering her. Peewee’s poised to shine in any home that is prepared to offer her a lifetime of love.
