Background
Pretty Katie was caring for her litter of kittens out one on the street when she caught the eye of a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer. She was rescued along with her kittens and placed in foster care. Katie was a bit wary after her experience as a young mama living stray, but she has made great strides in her foster home and is ready to find her forever family!
Katie is a beautiful tortoiseshell who has come a long way in a short time in her foster home. She was initially very shy of her foster parents and general household noises used to startle her. Now Katie eagerly greets her foster parents and is no longer bothered by most noises. Katie becomes excited and runs to the door when her foster parents arrive home and vocalizes when she wants to play or is hungry. Katie is easy to please with her favourite toys being string and bouncy balls. She loves looking out all of the windows and is especially happy when the windows are open and she can sniff the outside air. Katie is well-mannered, gentle and loving. Katie is also very athletic, and can jump, run and tackle her bouncy balls. She is constantly showing her gratitude for the attention she receives and is very content now being an indoor cat. Katie had a rough start but her future is bright! Katie would do best in a home without young children as she can still be rattled by sudden loud noises.
