Background

Phil was left homeless when his owner moved away and left him behind. Concerned citizens reached out to Regina Cat Rescue and Phil was placed in foster care.

Phil was shy to start and clearly wasn’t used to being around a lot of people or other pets, but he’s doing great in foster care and is coming out of his shell nicely. He likes attention and especially enjoys hanging with this foster dad while he watches TV or reads the paper. He also loves to cozy up in a cat tree or pet bed. Phil has made great progress in adjusting to the other cats and small dog in the home and is a good candidate for a home with other pets as long as he’s introduced slowly. It’s cute to watch one of the resident cats teaching Phil to play with toys! Phil would be a great fit for a single person seeking a quiet furry friend or for a quiet home without small children.
