Background

Handsome Marty’s a Regina Cat Rescue volunteer favourite who has won many hearts since his rescue. Volunteers spotted Marty wobbling around at one of our feeding stations, clearly injured and struggling. They quickly scooped him and upon examination, it appears that Marty suffers from chronic inflammation in his neck suspected to be the result of a human inflicted injury. He's a trooper though, and handled rehab well. All he wants is a home of his own where he will be cherished.

Marty’s an outgoing and affectionate cat who’s very grateful to be safe and loved in foster care. He does get along with other cats but is always happy to own all the attention. Marty has had a number of rehabilitation sessions and is in much better shape now. He’s more than ready for a loving home of his own, but would benefit greatly from raised food and water bowl. Recommendations provided upon request.
