Background
Buttercup and her siblings were spotted by RCR volunteers at a community cat colony along with their mom. The kittens had been weaned and were eating cat food at the feeding station. Volunteers knew the clock was ticking to get these kittens socialized while they were still young and easy to handle. The whole family was taken into RCR care. Mama cat was spayed, while her kittens were fostered together and grew to love human contact.
Buttercup is the smallest of her litter, but she plays just as hard and just as much as her two bigger brothers. She’s an independent and adventurous little girl, and will often explore toys and spaces ahead of her brothers. She doesn’t mind being held and will start purring to let you know she is content. She will also let you know when she has had enough and wants to get back to playing. She would be just happy as an only cat or in a home with other cats.
