Background
Chia gave birth to four kittens outdoors and moved them to a construction site where she thought they would be safe. Thankfully, a construction crew found them before they started working and reached out to Regina Cat Rescue for help.
Chia was pretty freaked out to be indoors at first — it was clear she had been living stray for quite some time. But with some gentle pets, patience and love, she came around. Now, she enjoys nothing more than lounging on the couch or soaking in the sun rays. She also loves head scratches and being held for some snuggles. Chia’s a little feisty with the resident cats in her foster home - we suspect largely due to her protective mothering hormones. With a gradual introduction to other cats, she should adapt just fine.
