Background
Pretty Mittens was a young kitten when she was first adopted back in 2014 and we were happy to see her in a loving home after her rough start in life, including frostbite to her ears. Sadly, Mittens was recently surrendered back to Regina Cat Rescue’s care after failing to adjust to the addition of two large dogs to the home. Seeing poor Mittens fearful and unable to partake in family life due to her fear of the dogs, the adopters decided to surrender her back to RCR.
Mittens was very scared upon surrender, but she’s a very sweet and docile girl who loves attention and affection and just melts into a kind hand for pets and cuddles. She quickly became a volunteer favourite, and adapted well to life in her new foster home. She absolutely adores a sunny window sill, and is a very loving and docile little cat who would do great as an only cat, or with a cat-loving family with lots of time to spend on a new addition!
