Background
Handsome Charlie is one of the sweetest and friendliest rescues to date this year, leaving volunteers scratching their heads as to how this lovely fellow came to be abandoned in a Regina bedroom community. He is so loving and affectionate that living stray without human love was clearly taking a toll.
Charlie showed up on the porch of a kind family in a nearby community a few weeks ago, drawing concern due to some severe injuries form another animal. However, it was his friendly nature and frantic desire to get inside with the family that compelled them to contact RCR for help. Charlie is extremely affectionate and outgoing and he absolutely loves to be with people. He is affectionate and social, and readily tolerates other animals, but he loves to give and receive affection. Charlie is famous among volunteers for his enthusiastic hugs, and this loving fellow has a huge fan club rooting for him. With his injuries healed and rough past behind him, Charlie is ready to shine with a new and loving forever family.
