Background

Beautiful young Lovey shocked and saddened Regina Cat Rescue volunteers when she was found stray with a harness that had become deeply embedded into her skin, causing infected wounds and nerve damage. (Read more about Lovey’s rescue here.) Despite the pain she must have been in, Lovey managed to nurse two beautiful kittens and the little family was rescued together, thriving in foster care.

Lovey’s name reflects her personality, which is 100 per cent sweet and loving. She’s a sweet and gentle young cat who took excellent care of her kittens despite the challenges she faced, and has been a champ throughout all the treatments she required to heal. Lovey’s a special and unique cat who’s a true testament to resiliency. If you’re looking for love and inspiration in a feline friend, Lovey’s the cat for you!
