Background
Cherry was an emergency rescue one recent summer day when we were contacted by a frantic member of the public about a young kitten with a badly injured back leg. Likely attacked by another animal, the young kitten had severely infected deep bite wounds. It was a slow healing process, but thanks to the diligence of a loving foster family, Cherry is fully healed and ready for a home of her own.
Cherry is a stunning young tortoiseshell kitten who is playful, fun and affectionate. She does have a good dose of the infamous “tortitude” that torties are known for, but it just adds to her charm. Cherry gets along well with other cats and large dog in her foster home, and does well on a harness and lead. She’s even been on a few camping adventures! She is a smart and sassy girl, and while she is very affectionate, she likes it on her terms and would not be suitable for a home with young children.
