Background
Carissa is a pretty little Tortie who came into Regina Cat Rescue care when volunteers discovered her and her siblings living at one of our feeding stations and feared they were too young to survive the winter cold. They were placed into foster care and Carissa is now ready for a home of her own.
Carissa is a bit shy to start, but once you have her in your arms, she loves to curl into you and cuddle. The way to her heart is to engage in play with dangly toys, her favourite is the fishing rod and she also enjoys playing and wrestling with her siblings. Carissa is good with the other cats in her foster home and would do well in a home with other cats to help give her confidence, but she would be fine on her own with someone gentle and patient.
