Background
Dwight is a street warrior who experienced some tough times including an injury from a pellet gun when he first appeared on our radar screen last spring. It took some time to get him into care due to the overwhelming volume of requests for help, but we were determined to get him off the streets before winter. A dedicated volunteer was able to scoop him off the street and get him to the safety of foster care. Dwight is grateful to be safe and loved and he's ready for a home of his own.
Dwight is a vocal kitty with the cutest high pitched meow which he is not shy about using when he wants attention or food. He will come to you for cuddles and he certainly loves a good meal after his lean days as a stray, he is quite food motivated. Dwight definitely has a playful side and enjoys chasing cat toys. Most of all, he likes the company of his humans and will follow his foster mom around and plop himself down to keep her company whatever she may be doing.
