Background
Shimmer was originally rescued in 2017 and as part of a large effort to help cats left homeless when a longtime drug house was condemned. She was recently picked up as a stray and returned to RCR. Shimmer had a dental surgery and a groom and is now shipshape and ready for a true forever home.
Shimmer is a pretty and sweet-natured cat who loves attention and affection from people. She has the prettiest green eyes that are a lovely compliment to her velvety soft gray coat. Shimmer is playful and active, enjoying a variety of cat toys but overall will be a docile cat companion who loves pets and cuddles. She has been around other cats but will need a gradual introduction to other pets, per best practices for integration.
